Can children or pets attend the festival?

Without exception, no children or pets are allowed to attend any Festival events. This is an adult-only, over-21 festival; IDs will be required to verify age and all adults will be clearly marked as attendees and participants. This rule also applies to infants in strollers or backpacks. Safety is our highest priority in this situation.

How many wines can I expect?

Each event features different domestic and international wines with over 500 wine, beer and spirit samples during the festival.

Can I purchase wine at the festival?

Colorado law prohibits the sale of wine at the festival. However, please visit our local retail sponsor - Central Park Liquors - to purchase your favorite wines as many will be specially priced the weekend of the festival. Hold onto your Festival Tasting Guide so you have a list of your personal favorites.

Will there be food?

Heavy appetizers will be provided at the Thursday Kickoff Celebration. The Friday Stroll will feature bite-size samplings to give you a taste of where you want to eat that night. The Saturday Grand Tasting will also have small bites from various local restaurants.

I'm from out of town. Where should I stay?

Check out current offers from our lodging partners on our website under "Lodging." Wine festival patrons are offered a special rate.

Where is will call?

Will call will be located at the entrance to each event and will open two hours prior to the event.

Can I purchase tickets anywhere other than online?

Online is the best option to purchase tickets. By June 1st Central Park Liquors in Steamboat Springs will be selling tickets to the Friday and Saturday Grand Tastings. You may also order by phone at (877) 328-2783.

Can you really walk around with a glass of wine during the Steamboat Stroll?

No. You must empty (consume or dump) your wine glass before you leave one stroll area to reach another. Wine cannot leave the grounds of any Stroll location.

What will the live entertainment be?

Depending upon the event, the live entertainment can vary from live music to auctions and cooking demos.

Is there a designated driver program or a non-drinking ticket?

Yes. Non-drinking tickets are sold at a discounted price; attendees will receive different credentials and no wine glass for the event. Please call our offices to purchase these tickets: (877) 328-2783.

What if I buy tickets and can't come to the event?

Just like a sporting event or concert, we do not refund ticket purchases.

What if there is inclement weather?

We will do our best to produce the event as planned. The event will most likely be held, rain or shine, unless the safety of our patrons and vendors is in jeopardy. Don't forget, the Colorado outdoors can be unpredictable in the summer so dress accordingly.
